Statement of Hackney Carriage Fares and Charges in the North Hertfordshire District*:
TARIFF 1 (Standard Tariff)
£3.40 - for the first 1,260 yards or part thereof (First Mile £4.00)
£0.10 - after the first 1,260 yards, for every 80yards or part thereof (£2.20 per Mile)
OR for each 25 seconds or part thereof (waiting times) (£14.40 per Hour)
TARIFF 2 (Plus 50% of Tariff 1)
For hirings commencing between midnight and 2.00am, 5.30am and 7.00am all day Sunday, all day on Bank Holidays including Good Friday and Boxing Day
£5.10 - for the first 1,260 yards or part thereof
£0.15 - after the first 1,260 yards, for every 80 yards or part thereof
OR for each 25 seconds or part thereof (waiting time)
TARIFF 3 (DoubleTariff 1)
For hirings commencing between 2.00am and 5.30am and 7.00am, all day Christmas Day
£6.80 - for the first 1,260 yards or part thereof
£0.20 - after the first 1,260 yards, for every 80 yards or part thereof
OR for each 25 seconds or part thereof (waiting time)
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
£50.00 - for spoiling the inside of the Hackney Carriage
All fares recorded by the taximeter are inclusive of value added tax and are the maximum that can be charged for the journey.
*Charges from the 01st of October 2011 which are not expected to change before 01st of November 2012, However please do confirm before booking.
